Help - Photo Object Number

The object number is a unique identifying number assigned to each photograph by the Provincial Archives of Alberta. If you are looking for a specific photograph and already know the assigned number (for example, A7401), the object number search should bring up that specific photograph. The beginning letter denotes a photographer or specific collection of photographs. For example, the B images are those of Ernest Brown and the P images are those of Harry Pollard. Not all our photographs are searchable in the database. Please call the reference desk at (780) 427-1056 for assistance.

Please note, there should not be a space or period between the letter and the number.
